Between 8 and 19 April, the EU4Justice Project organized a Study Visit in Spain for two work teams of Inspectors and assistant inspectors of the High Justice Inspector. The Study Visit aimed to increase the capacities of the staff and to obtain experiences from the European counterpart institutions. During the study visit, the participants had meetings with the Head of the Judicial Inspectorate, Mrs. María Dolores Hernández Rueda; The head of the Prosecution Inspectorate, Mrs. María Antonia Sanz Gaite; as well as the presidents of the Courts of the jurisdiction of Valencia and Murcia.
The participants also had the opportunity to be part of the inspections of the jurisdictional courts of Valencia and Murcia, through the telematic inspection (online) as well as in the field, examining step by step the different phases of the thematic inspection as well as the interviews of structured with the judicial and administrative personnel of the respective courts.
These visits contributed not only to obtaining the best European experiences but also to building bridges of communication and cooperation with the Spanish inspectorate.
EU4JUSTICE is an EU Contribution Agreement Project implemented by AICS, Expertise France, and FIIAPP. The project’s overall objective is the improvement of the capacity of the independent justice institutions in Albania.
