From the 13 th to 16 th of May 2024 the EU4JUSTICE project organized a 4-day training on Conducting a
comprehensive analysis of the current HIJ technological landscape. The training was organized with the participation of High Justice Inspector staff, project experts, and 3 International Short-Term Experts, members of the Spanish Office Inspectorate.The 4-day training aimed to contribute to the strengthening of the capacities of HIJ to assess the current situation and suggest measures to improve the efficiency and transparency of the HIJ underscoring the necessity of creating and deploying a fully electronic complaint processing system. During the training sessions, the experts presented the Spanish judiciary’s best practices, tools, and establishment. Various topics were presented and discussed with practical exercises like the Judicial on stop shop for data/information access/interoperability; Case Law Search – Judgment Search Engine (CENDOJ); Definition of entities and establishment of a metamodel for each dimension: Business, Data, Systems, Technology; IT strategy and definition: Drivers, Goals, Objectives; Identify data and applications; Identify Technology Organizational capacity for transformation; Establishment of locations, organizational structures, and products; Definition of roles, functions, and processes.
