From 01 – 04 October 2024, the EU4Justice project supported a three-day training for the Office of the High Justice Inspector’s unit of Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors in Tirana. The training focused on enhancing HJI’s capacity and efficiency in conducting thematic and institutional inspections. This activity represents the second training phase initiated in June 2024 with a similar focus.
The training program emphasized the preparation, execution, and analysis of institutional inspections at courts and prosecutor’s offices. It was structured to combine theoretical understanding with practical skill development, fostering a collaborative environment for the conceptualization and execution of institutional inspections. The sessions were led by 2 Short term experts, mobilized by the EU4Justice Project, a French magistrate expert Mr. Vincent Delbos, and a Romanian magistrate expert Ms. Nicoleta Rhfir. The discussions included topics on ethical considerations for institutional inspections and disciplinary investigations.
