From the 27th to 31st of May 2024 the EU4JUSTICE project following Component 3’s activities, organized a joint workshop with CEPEJ (CoE) on preparing, conducting, and analysing classic thematic inspection missions. The focus of the workshop was on prosecution services which aimed to contribute to the strengthening of the capacities of Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors at the High Inspector of Justice in conducting a thematic inspection, based on EU best practices and standards. This activity included a three-day training and workshops on the methodology of preparing and conducting classic thematic inspections related to the internal work of courts and prosecution offices, sharing with participants both French and Romanian experiences on thematic inspections, contributing to understanding and applying inspection’s relevant standards (like CEPEJ and international standards). Under this activity, during the week, international experts also assisted in field inspections.EU4JUSTICE is an EU Contribution Agreement Project implemented by AICS, Expertise France, and FIIAPP. The project’s overall objective is to the improvement of the capacity of the independent justice institutions in Albania.
